The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the Winner of the 2021 Anambra Governorship Election.
Soludo Emerges as the Winner with 112,229 Votes, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Valentine Ozigbo came second with 53,807 Votes while Andy Uba of All Progressive Congress (APC) came third with 43,283 Votes.
The Total Number of Registered Voters is 2,466,638.
Accredited Voters: 253,388
Valid Votes: 241,523
Rejected Votes: 8,108
Total number of votes cast is 249,631.
At the Ihiala supplementary election scheduled for yesterday Tuesday, APGA got the most votes.
In Soludo’s acceptance speech after the chief returning Officer for Anambra 2021 Gubernatorial Election, Professor Florence Banku Obi, returned him as Winner of the election, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo pledges to “work hard everyday and never to disappoint the people of Anambra.”
He also estend a hand of cooperation to his opponents, stating that the contest has ended.
