WhatsApp To Stop Working With Some Devices As From November 1, Check Out The Eligibility Status of Your Device

In order for the security and feature list of WhatsApp to be enhanced, WhatsApp usually updates its application on each operating system.

The requirements for the minimum hardware keep increasing to operate the new features. The Meta (formerly Facebook) owned messaging application will stop being appropriate to operate with older smartphones.

WhatsApp will no longer support some Android, KaiOS, iOS devices operating on old OS versions from tomorrow, November 1, 2021. That means with some devices WhatsApp will totally stop working.

In order to retain all chats and media with the new device users of WhatsApp will get, chat history needs to be back up from the old device.

Android 4.0.4 and older versions of device will stop supporting WhatsApp.

Android device that won’t support WhatsApp include, Samsung Galaxy SII, Galaxy S3 mini, Optimus L5 Dual, Optimus L4 II Dual, Optimus F7, Optimus F5 and so on.

Android phones listed by the messaging Application (WhatsApp) includes smartphones from Samsung, LG, ZTE, Huawei, Sony, Alcatel and many more.

iOS 10 and newer versions will be the minimum requirement of device to operate WhatsApp. iPhone with operating systems older than iOS 10 will not work from November 1.
