British Govt speaks on Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest.
The British High Commission has spoken on the report flying around about the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, which insinuated that he was arrested by the British Government.
Dean Hurlock, who is the spokesperson of the British High Commission, said that Nnamdi Kanu was neither arrested nor extradited from the UK.
Remember that in the report by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami he said that Nnamdi Kanu was arrested on Sunday.
He said Nnamdi Kanu was arrested by the combine efforts of Nigerian intelligence and foreign security services.
Nnamdi Kanu is a dual citizen of both Nigeria and Britain, he was rumoured to have been apprehended in UK, where it was believed that he has been staying since he escaped from the country in 2017.
There are other reports that he was apprehended from one of the Africa countries.
