Bishop David Oyedepo Sounds A Note Of Warning To The Upcoming Genartions Says Travelling Out Of The Country Is Not An Achievement [Details & Video]

While Speaking At the 8th Convocation Ceremony of Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria, The Chancellor of the University and also the President and Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a Winners Chapel International Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo has reiterated his love for the progress of this Nation, Nigeria.

In the Chancellor’s Convocation Address, Making Your Life Count! He said thus: “Every marvel in life is the doing of the lord, no one is qualify to engender a marvel but the God that we serve. For the past 12 years, I like all of us to give God a hand of praise.”

He welcome everyone present at the event to the 8th Convocation ceremony of the University.

He qualifies the Graduands as the people that owns today.

He further on by saying “Every elder was once a youth. Parting words are much vital to the people.
The size of the problem is not the problem, it is getting started at seeking solutions that have been the problem.
I have always believed in finding Indigenous solutions to Indigenous problems. You will agree with me that in the animal kingdom, all animals find local solutions to all their local problems, they don’t travel, they don’t get visa, they do not import goods and services.

“But Man is the most intelligent creature of all of God’s creation, yet because he will not take responsibility, he has not succeeded to find solution to his own problems. A one time American President once said, do what you can with what you have where you are.”

“Every great problem is solved by starting from known to unknown. Revolution begins from one spot to another spot and it starts to spread. Only changed people can bring about changes, everything global started local. Everything great has a small beginning.

“Those who detest the days of small things hardly see great days. From the beginning of times God always deliver his agenda little by little. You have to be a baby first before you become a toddler, this is the reality of life.

“Everyone born of a Woman is born on a mission and he’s on a mission of making contribution, everything living including animals and plant only stays alive by making contribution. Every Man has something to offer, it by making contribution that life becomes sustainable. If you’re not making contribution you’re not living, start from where you are.”

Bishop David Oyedepo further urges the Graduands to be contribution driven by starting from where they are, He said: “Stop thinking self, start thinking Job creation, think the current generation, think of adding value to life.”

“Living to self enslaves, living for others opens up destiny, what you have is your cup of tea, what you are is what defines you.”

He addresses Nigerian Politicians by saying “Helping others for them is for show perhaps for them to win Election.”

“You have something to add go ahead and add it. To make life counts go and add value. Start by honoring your parents.”

He ended the convocation lecture by sounding a note of warning to the upcoming generations: “Beware of a lifestyle of hurry, most people among the youths suffers horrors. Hurry is the breeding ground for horror, a number of youths today engage in computer scam. Young People learn patience. Life is in phases enjoy the phase to phase advancement of life. Patience is a peak factor to a peaceful life.

“Further more the syndrome among the youths is the crave to travel abroad without a particular mission. Life without a mission is an adventure in frustration. Travelling out of the country is not an achievement, there is nothing wrong in going out to study. I thank God I never miss my way to stay in America.”

Bishop David Oyedepo thank God that he is seeing the fruit of his labour.
