The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari has reacted to the Insecurity challenges in the country, which has claimed so many lives, and cause destruction to so many properties, and she gave her husband, the president an advise.
Speaking while at gathering with the wives of the security personnels, at the state house in Abuja, she said that I urge the Police and Military personnel’s wife to give more support to their spouses, so that they can be able to accomplish more in their duties to the nation.
Rendering support to your spouse’s will help them boost their morals, and also gives them strength to fight against the incessant Insecurity challenges in the country. She said, and she also begged relevant authorities, that they should look into recruiting more people into the security force, so that it can boost the man power, and increase the threat to Insecurity.
She went ahead to commend the Buhari led administration, and urges them not to reduce the pace of their fight against Insecurity. In attendance was Mrs Irabor Vickie who is the president of the Defense and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA), she spoke and pledges their support and commitment to the first lady.
She said, we know it is not so easy but we assure you that we are going to support you, because you (the first lady), have been a great pillar of support to us (the security families).
Also in attendance are the wives of, the Chief of Army Staff Salamatu Yahaya, Chief of Air Staff Nana Gambo, Inspector General of Police Hajara Alkali-Baba, and State Security Service Director-General Aisha Bichi.
